The conference ‘E-learning Fusion’ is the only international conference in Poland fully dedicated to innovative e-learning, and methods of skills development and personal improvement. Pete took the number one spot on the "Gamification Gurus Power 100" in February 2016.
Pete Jenkins is an international speaker, adviser and trainer in Gamification. Pete is Chair of GamFed (the International Gamification Confederation). At GamFed he helps spread the use of gamification best practices to benefit as many people and businesses as possible. Pete also recently became Practice Director, Gamification at Intelestream Inc. in Chicago, USA.
Pete has been Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Brighton for 8 years. As well as researching gamification for HR at CROME (the University's Centre for Research on Management and Employment), he lectures on gamification and entrepreneurship at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

Techniques for applying gamification to learning at work (particularly the ‘70’ and ‘20’ in 70:20:10)
How players learn best in games supports the 70:20:10 idea. While most efforts in corporate learning are spent on gamifying the ‘10’, in this session I will highlight the possibilities and platforms that could and should be used in on the job training and in watching others work. We will learn from the massive success of eSports, where millions of people watch billions of hours of online multiplayer video games every month. via channels like eSports. Finally the presentation will show you how gamification principles can be used to help you drive the elusive ‘70’ part of the 70:20:10 learning framework.

It is a well known fact that employee engagement has a real impact on increasing efficiency of their work. One of the key aspects affecting employee engagement is their professional development. Training plays a big role in this process.
E-learning is one of the tools that support the development of employees, allowing them to gain new knowledge and skills. But for this tool to work properly and fulfill expectations connected with its functionalities, the organization needs to be prepared for the implementation of e-learning courses. During the presentation I'll share our experience in promoting vocational training through e-learning by using, among others, the "small steps" method and communications based on the identification of benefits.

Corsello joined Cornerstone from HR consulting firm Knowledge Infusion (now Appirio), where he was responsible for strategy and solutions, in addition to playing a lead consulting role with many Global 2000 clients. He also held roles at Yankee Group (research director for human capital management) and Flextronics International (manufacturing and supply chain outsourcing strategies for multinational clients).
