The fascination with new technologies passes, but the role of algorithms rises. They enter the everyday life. The mental world is treated mechanically within them, like a smartphone application. The algorithm replaces the traditional principles of psychology. People don't know nor understand themselves, but they believe algorithms. What does "human" mean in the age of artificial intelligence and digital communication? To what extent are human choices and actions still driven by mind, imagination and empathy, and to what extent by technology - by algorithms, hidden codes, and applications? What is the relation of algorithms to the laws of psychology? Will digital scripts ensure effective communication between people and with themselves in the 21st century? Will we give the first place in the hierarchy of values to machines and technological civilization or to man, psychology and culture? What first? There is a challenge ahead of us: IT or psychology? What is more important for digital device manufacturers in the year 2021: technology or culture, algorithms or archetypes?
